Policy-aware RAG

Policy-aware RAG — A RAG architecture that enforces access policy at the retrieval boundary — filtering documents by the requester's permissions before they enter the model's context window.

Policy-aware RAG is necessary in regulated industries to prevent sensitive documents from being included in prompts the requester isn't entitled to see.
